General Ledger Accountant
Responsibilities
- Record details for financial transactions related to various accounting adjustments.
- Process monthly payroll and allocate relevant deductions.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and record depreciation, ensuring accurate accounting reconciliation.
- Monitor accounts payable, other creditors, and advance payments for goods.
- Prepare tax reports (purchase and sales tax) for all subsidiaries and submit them to the Revenue Department.
- Coordinate and communicate with relevant departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the construction contracting business will be an advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software (ERP) and advanced Excel skills.
